Run the example app

Build and run the official iOS SDK 1.0.1 example app. Use its settings screen to configure the chat, try microphone permissions and inspect SDK events.

Connect yours

Switch it on for your business from the Console.

iOS 15 or newer, the versioned Swift package, and your authenticated backend for signed-in chat. Guest chat works without an identity endpoint.

iOS in-app support in action

A customer writes on iOS in-app support, your mate answers from your own content, and your team steps in from the Inbox when it matters.

Your customer → iOS in-app support → your mate → Your Inbox and teamDiagram: a customer sends a message on iOS in-app support; your mate answers; when needed the conversation is handed to your Inbox and team.

Set it up in the Console

  1. Install the official iOS SDK at version 1.0.1 with Swift Package Manager and add its library product to your app target.

  2. Configure the WKWebView's trusted chat origins, your authenticated identity endpoint and the microphone usage description before loading chat.

  3. Build the repository's example-app to try guest and signed-in chat, account changes, callbacks and microphone controls.

How to integrate

Questions

Installation, configuration and device testing are documented at /docs/guides/ios-sdk. Changes to the native SDK require an app release.
No platform fee: AI Assistant bills per workspace plan, not per channel. The channel's own provider may charge for its numbers, messages or approvals.
It says when it is unsure. If handoff is enabled for your workspace and channel, it can ask your team to take over in the Inbox. It confirms when your team has been asked to help.
